Days Inns adds Dominican Republic
Days Inns adds Dominican Republic to list of franchise agreements.
A year-end agreement added the Dominican Republic to the Days Inns Worldwide Inc. system, bringing to seven the total number of international master license contracts signed for the year – a brand record. Days Inn master license agreements were signed this year for Italy, Jordan, Korea, Taiwan, Morocco, Egypt and the Dominican Republic.
Jean Marie N’Gore-Traore, who plans to open four hotels by 2006 in the cities of Santo Domingo and Porta Plata, signed the master license contract for the Dominican Republic, a nation that occupies two-thirds of the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean, east of Haiti. This is the second Caribbean country on the Days Inn system. Puerto Rico was added in 1996.
