Best Western Offers Pre-Paid Travel Cards
Best Western is the first mid-scale hotel company in the world to offer a prepaid Travel Card, just in time for holiday shopping. The card can be purchased for personal or business use or given as a gift to cover hotel charges at over 4,000 Best Western hotels worldwide. The card is available in USD, CDN and Euros. By the end of the year the card will be available in 15 additional currencies. For a limited time, Gold Crown Club International members can earn bonus points when purchasing.
The Travel Card is an ideal gift for consumers — graduation, honeymoon, and weekend getaways. For small business operators, the Travel Card is an effective way to manage travel costs and ensure employees are staying at designated hotels. Flexible billing terms are available.
‘Best Western is committed to continuing to offer programs that are truly valuable to the consumer and the travel industry,’ explained David Kong, vice president, strategic services and operations.’Over the past several years, programs such as BestRequests(TM), BestCheque(TM) and the relaunch of our Gold Crown Club International have strengthened our position as the globally preferred mid-scale hotel chain. This card is just another example of our efforts to enhance our customers’ overall experience when working with Best Western.’
The card is available for purchase or reloading online at travelcard.bestwestern.com, at Best Western hotels, through a travel agent or by calling 877-CARD2TVL in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Cards can be shipped or, for instant delivery, printed from a computer. A complete list of terms and conditions can be found online or on the back of the card.
To celebrate the launch of the card, guests who are members of Best Western’s Gold Crown Club International frequent traveler program will receive one bonus point for every USD dollar purchased on the card. This is in addition to earning one point for every dollar spent when the card is utilized.
U.S. residents who purchase a $ 100 USD card have the option of selecting a 100-minute calling card from AT&T in lieu of the bonus points at the time of purchase. Both promotions are valid through the end of the year.
