Bank of Scotland sells four QMH hotels

A London-based property investor has completed the purchase of four hotels previously run by Queens Moat Houses. Maurice Gourgey's Pedersen Group has paid more than £40m for the properties, which were owned by Bank of Scotland.

The four properties have a total of more than 400 bedrooms. Three of them will be managed by Pedersen Group.

They are:
the 114-bedroom Holiday Inn Reading (which will be kept under the Holiday Inn franchise)
the 71-bedroom Moat House Winchester
the 95-bedroom Moat House Sheffield (now the Sheffield Park Hotel)
The 128-bedroom Holiday Inn Bristol has been leased to Accor and rebranded as a Novotel.
