Le Méridien sells three hotels for £45m

Purtill and the senior management of Paramount will run the hotels through management contracts. In a separate deal, Le Méridien has sold the 128-bedroom Le Méridien Chester hotel to North-west hotel, catering and events group Feathers for about £6m. The Chester hotel is one of Le Méridien’s former Principal hotels. The properties were all sold by agents ATIS REAL Weatheralls.

Le Méridien said it would keep the 118-bedroom Le Méridien Metropole in Leeds, its six central London properties, the Heathrow and Gatwick airport hotels and its remaining properties in south Croydon, Chester, Manchester, York, Edinburgh and Dublin.
