Sudan: Prince Alwaleed Signs Deal To Build Movenpick

A Saudi billionaire, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, Sunday signed a U.S. $ 30 million agreement for the construction of a five-star hotel and a U.S. $ 300 million deal for importing Sudanese livestock.

Al-Waleed, a nephew of Saudi King Fahd, was invited to Sudan by President Omar el-Bashir, his company said in a press release. It said al-Waleed on Sunday visited the site in Khartoum where he intends to build the hotel under the supervision of the Swiss international hotel chain Movenpick.
