In North America, Best Western opened 34 hotels in the United States and three hotels in Canada. Third quarter U.S. hotel additions include: Best Western IPG Florida Homes (50 three-to-five bedroom homes), Clermont, Fla.; the Best Western Brooklyn Center Inn (210 rooms), Minneapolis; the Best Western Raleigh North (139 rooms), Raleigh, N.C., and the Best Western Downtown Convention Center (100 rooms), Nashville, Tenn.
In Canada, the hotel chain added the Best Western Sicamous Inn (65 rooms), Sicamous, British Columbia; Best Western Maple Ridge (61 rooms), Maple Ridge, British Columbia, and the Best Western Chateauneuf Laval (70 rooms) in Montreal, Quebec.
Internationally, Best Western has added 38 hotels in 16 countries. Key additions include: the Best Western Sodehotel La Woluwe (126 rooms), Brussels, Belgium; the Best Western Marina Wadi El Dome Resort Hotel (100 rooms), Ain Sokhna -- Suez, Egypt; the Best Western Gatwick Worth (118 rooms), Cramley, England; the Best Western Hotel Hamburg International (121 rooms), Hamburg, Germany; the Best Western Palace Hotel Helios (136 rooms), Siracusa, Italy and the BW Anker Hotel (137 rooms), Oslo, Norway.
